29.03.06 IPY Consultative Forum - 8th July, Hobart

An IPY Consultative Forum will be held in Hobart, Australia on Saturday 8 July 2006, prior to the commencement of the XXIX Meeting of the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research, the XVIII Meeting of the Council of Managers of National Antarctic Programmes, and the 2nd SCAR Open Science Conference.

23.03.06 World Meteorological Day 2006

World Meteorological Day will be celebrated on 23 March 2006 by National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) throughout the world and by the WMO Secretariat around the theme "Preventing and mitigating natural disasters".
