19.08.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 carries out research work in section toward north-east from Spitsbergen beyond EEZ of the Russian Federation. By 12.00 (Moscow time) on August 19 two subsurface buoy stations and two oceanographic stations with water sampling were deployed.

21.08.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 carries out the research work in section northward from Franz Josef Land according to the approved research program and Permission for marine research within EEZ of the Russian Federation. Three oceanographic stations were carried out.

22.08.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 finished to carry out oceanographic section northward Franz Josef Land.

23.08.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 continues to work in oceanographic section in the north Kara Sea. Seven oceanographic stations with water sampling were carried out, some horizontal trawling were done to sample zooplankton. Then icebreaker will go to the north-eastern part of the Laptev Sea across Arktichesky cape.

25.08.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 goes toward the oceanographic section in the north-eastern part of the Laptev Sea. Along the route beyond EEZ of the Russian Federation surface buoys, which will measure air temperature in surface layer, will be deployed.

26.08.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 carries out a complex of oceanographic, hydrochemical and meteorological work at profile across continental slope in the north-eastern part of the Laptev Sea.

28.08.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 carries out research in section in the central Laptev Sea within EEZ of the Russian Federation. The six oceanographic stations and four horizontal trawling for zooplankton sampling were carried out.

30.08.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 finished to carry out oceanographic section in the central Laptev Sea and goes toward Severnaya Zemlya, where will continue to work in section across continental slope. Considerably the vessel will be in a point of first oceanographic station in section at 20.00 (Moscow time).

31.08.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 carries out research work in section in Severnaya Zemlya region. The five oceanographic stations were carried out. During day it is planned to finish the section and move to next section abeam Arkticheskiy cape.

01.09.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 finished to carry out the first section near Severnaya Zemlya. Now it carries out the second oceanographic section near Arkticheskiy cape. During this day it is planned to finish work in this section and move to carry out the section again in the northern Kara Sea.

03.09.2009 Expedition AVLAP/NABOS-2009 carries out research work in section in the northern Kara Sea. Totally it is planned to carry out 17 stations in this section. Considerably the work will be finished on September 4 at 03:00. Then the vessel will go to Kinkiness sea port to discharge the research equipment.
